History
Saint Paul's Episcopal Church at Federal Point is a historic carpenter Gothic church established in 1880.
1880 Captain Smith requested mission
1880 On June 2, St. Paul's mission organized and met in Captain Smith's barn and hall over store
1882 Contracted to build the basic church for $1,000
1882 On July 30, the church structure was dedicated
1883 On April 30, the bell was purchased for $32 and installed
1885 On June 10, the stained glass windows were installed
1885 During the summer of 1885, the church was plastered and the chimney was built
1894 Construction of the original rectory began
1926 Construction of the Atkinson House began
1951 Construction of the adjoining parish house began
1974 The Atkinson House was donated to the Florida Diocese
1988 The addition to the present church was built
2008 Dedication of the dock
